Obsessing Over Younique’s Moodstruck Beloved Palette, Volume 2:

image of Younique eye paletteWhile I was out of town in California for Younique’s Black Status Retreat, my Moodstruck Beloved, Volume 2 palette was delivered. Of course it happens like that, right? The second I leave on a plane is when my package arrives.

If you remember the palette we launched February 2018, this one probably looks somewhat familiar to you… and it should! Last year’s palette was such a huge hit, so consider this Beloved palette the 2nd volume. You’re welcome! It’s perfectly on trend and the colors have shifted just a tad to more softer purples and pinks. Get ready to swoon over the prettiness!

While I was in California, I got to play around with the palette a bit making color swatches on my arm, but I couldn’t wait for mine to arrive so I could really play with the colors on my eyes. Here’s the thing about the sweet pinks & purples in this pressed eyeshadow palette: They will look good on everyone. I’m not even kidding. No matter what your skin tone is, you will be able to pull off these shades. They are so pretty!

The four shadows are:

  1. Doting: Bright white
  2. Wooed: Shimmer pink/purple
  3. Irreplaceable: Matte purple
  4. Wistful: Matte mauve/purple

This palette is beautiful, both the colors and the packaging. It makes you want to put on makeup, lol. It’s fun and flirty, allowing you to create soft looks all the way down to a bold smokey eye.

Younique Products I Used To Create This Look

image of pressed paletteI put “Doting” all over my lid and then applied “Wooed” on top to give my lower lid some shimmer. I used “Irreplaceable” in my crease and carried it over to the top middle of my lid. I used “Wistful” as a deeper color in my crease to add a slight smokey eye element. I used my angled brush to add a pop of color of “Irreplaceable” under my eye. Irreplaceable is the perfect shade to bring out the green/hazel eyes. Doting can also be used under your brow as a highlight. I love when the colors have multiple uses, don’t you?

This pressed eyeshadow palette truly is just so pretty! The colors are so soft and romantic and you can keep your look completely girly and even flirty, no matter which shades you choose to wear. You can’t go wrong with any of these beautiful colors. Which color is your favorite?

This palette is available in our February Kudos bundle or individually.
