Are you looking to join Younique and become a presenter? If so, this post is for you! In the past week I’ve had many presenters email me before joining to ask very similar questions, so I thought it would be a good idea for me to write a post about it.
Is there a cost to sign up?
When you sign up as a presenter, you pay $99 US, $119 CA, $129 AUS, and $139 NZ (coming June 1, 2014) for the cost of your kit. Let me just say that the contents in the Younique kit are amazing! You get: 30 eye pigments, 6 concealers, 5 blushers, 3D Fiber Lash mascara, eye brushes (set of 3), and a charm. All of this comes in a super cute black faux leather kit. You also get your Younique website free for life!
Is there a monthly auto-ship or any extra costs to pay monthly?
No. You pay your initial money for your kit and that is it. You are not required to keep inventory at your house. There are no hidden costs.
What else do I need to know?
You have to sell at least $125 every 3 months in order to stay active with Younique. Instead of letting that number seem daunting to you, think of it in different terms. If you just sell two 3D Fiber Lash Mascaras every month, you will be active. It’s much easier to think of it like that, at least for me it is.
Do I have to have home parties?
Nope. The fact that I didn’t have to have a home party was what initially attracted me to Younique, not going to lie. Now that I’ve been involved with Younique for 4 months, the idea of having a home party is more appealing. Inviting friends over, playing with makeup, and having some wine doesn’t sound too bad. In fact, when you are dealing with makeup, it’s sometimes better to be able to play around with it so you can make sure to get the right colors for your face! But again, you do not have to have home parties.
How do I get sales then?
Younique integrates perfectly with Facebook when it comes to having an online party. You can create a group or event, invite your friends, and they can shop at their leisure! Once you get customers from your virtual party, you can then ask your happy customers if they would like to host a Facebook party for their friends. (Who doesn’t want hostess rewards, right?) Then you get more customers and ask them. And on and on. You just keep on going. It’s nice because you get to branch out of your personal contacts and meet new people all of the time! The best-case scenario is that your customers sign up to be presenters… but if they don’t, they can host a party for you or give you referrals!
You can also use Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, and any other social media outlet. Post pictures, include your link, and build a following.
Speaking of pictures, how do I get access to people’s results from using the Younique products?
After you sign up to be a presenter, I will share a site with you where you will have access to hundreds of photos from other presenters and customers. You are free to use these pictures to do your marketing on Facebook, or any other social media site. You do not need to ask permission; the pictures are for us to use.
What happens after I sign up to be a presenter?
Well first I’ll send you an email congratulating you and then I will friend request you on Facebook. Once we are “friends”, I will add you to the secret Younique Presenter page on Facebook and on the team page. These pages are really awesome because you get updates on them, can ask questions, and have lots of support from other presenters!
I will also help you get your Facebook party set up and help you any other way that I can.
