Brows on fleek. Those words have never been said to me before. Until today, that is. That’s right; I feel like I’ve finally had my brow moment and my day (read: year) has been made!
Who else has some sparse looking, wavy eyebrows? Oh. Just me? Cool. Well, let me tell you that having these unruly brows has been tough on me when it comes to wanting to have beautifully defined brows. And, for the longest time, I just thought that I’d have to live with these brows because it seemed like there was nothing that could be done to help out the situation. Dramatic, I know, but so true.
I’ve been told by many of my customers that Younique has the best brow liner and brow gel. (I’m wearing medium in the photo below.) While I think it is amazing (especially now) there was still something missing.
Check out the video below!
I’m sure you’ve seen the Wunderbrow sponsored ads on Facebook, right? Yep. Totally tried that product and did not like it. The videos make it look SO easy and not at all fake, but that’s a story for another time. (Stay tuned for my review.)
In my quest to achieve the perfect brows, I do know that I don’t want a certain look. You know, the drawn in/totally fake look. That’s one look that I’m just not down with. At all.
It never occurred to me that I could be missing out on some important information when it came to having brows on fleek (makes me laugh every time I type that out). Yep that’s right, total user error with the brow liner and brow gel, even though the products are SO easy to use.
I’m going to let you in to the biggest secret of having amazing brows: Using a lash comb, brush brows up and fill in below AND THEN brush brows down and fill in above. Seriously. Mind blown. I never knew that I was supposed to brush them down and fill in the top. (As embarrassing as this is to admit, I hope that I’m helping someone else out there that didn’t know this important piece of information either.)
So that’s my big eyebrow revelation, but it’s such an important piece of the puzzle. As soon as I combed my lashes down and filled in the top, I knew that I had figured it out. They look real. They do not look drawn on. They look thick, straight, and not at all sparse. My face looks defined. It’s true: Brows really do complete your look and I’m in love!
